Could you be Pregnant? Let us find out:
Light bleeding or spotting:
While you’re trying to get pregnant, you probably don’t want to see any spotting or slight bleeding. When you start to notice it just around the time of your period, this could be because the fertilized egg is attaching itself to the lining of your uterus.
As long as it is light, smear like, I shouldn’t worry about it, but if at any point you notice it getting stronger or heavier, I would consult a midwife or even your GP straight away.
Tender or Sore Breasts:
When your breasts start to feel tender or sore that could be a symptom of being pregnant due to the hormonal changes that are sweeping through your body to make it a safe haven to your little boy or girl for the next nine months.
Feeling fatigued and tired often:
From the word go, feeling lazy and lethargic and sometimes fatigued and wiped-out are all symptoms of being pregnant. So try to take it easy and get enough rest, plenty of rest.
Nausea and Morning Sickness:
Although it is the most known symptom of early pregnancy, it dose not happen to everybody. So, if you feel the other symptoms and not this one consider yourself very lucky.
However, it is perfectly normal to have nausea and morning sickness its part of becoming pregnant, so smile!
Urinating more than usual:
To feel the need to go to the toilet to urinate frequently, could be caused by few different things, but to feel it as part of a combination of the above symptoms it will mean that you are pregnant.
Missing your Period for a Week or More:
I can now tell you:
It is time to take your pregnancy test…
Missing your period combined with some or all of the above symptoms is positively a big signal that you are pregnant and soon to be a mum.
To be certain and eliminate any doubt you can take a pregnancy-test, nowadays these tests are so much more accurate than ever before.
Once confirmed that you are pregnant, smile and be excited: you are embarking on an epic journey..! In my next article I will talk about all the things you need to do and prepare for, but meanwhile:
Bond, Love and laugh a lot!
A word of caution, if you have one of the symptoms above without any of the other ones, contact your GP or medical provider and have it checked, just to be sure.
